Dr. Joe Blampied, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Joe Blampied has always had a passion for helping others. At a young age he was introduced to the harsh realities of life below the middle class. While growing up he was amazed by the willingness of some people to lend a helping hand, with nothing expected in return. These experiences solidified his belief in helping others and by joining the wonderful team at Freedom Chiropractic; Dr. Joe hopes to continue this passion!
At a young age his mother introduced him to chiropractic, and the care he received has allowed him to live a healthy, practically drug free life. Dr. Joe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic December 2011. After completing his studies he returned to Colorado Springs, allowing him to finish his Masters in Sport Science and Rehabilitation and graduate with distinction. Besides his academic achievements, Dr. Joe has worked as a senior intern assistant for the community outreach center in inner-city St. Louis, and the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis. Dr. Joe has been extensively trained in a variety of adjusting techniques. He is trained to utilized manual adjusting, instrument adjusting, active and passive rehabilitative techniques, and muscular rehabilitative techniques.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Joe enjoys many of the wonderful activities Colorado has to offer. He rabidly enjoys hockey (what Canadian doesn’t?), camping, hiking, riding his motorcycle through the mountains, stargazing, fishing, snowboarding, being lazy one day a week, and trying to convince himself that it was ok to eat an entire pizza (it’s not).
Community Outreach Director
My family and I have been patients at Freedom for several years. I am a true believer in the 5 Essentials and what following them can do to improve your life. It took me being a patient for a few years before it all “clicked”, but I now see what a difference maximizing the 5 Essentials has made in my life and the lives of my husband and children. I feel better at 53 than I did at 30!
I am very excited about being a part of the Freedom Chiropractic team. I love our patients and reaching out to our community. Please contact me if you have folks in your life who you would like to invite to our next Community Dinner and/or if you would like one of our doctors to come to your place of business or organization to teach on health.
